Even if the sun is setting a lot earlier than we’d like, it doesn’t mean we don’t need to protect our skin. Did you know there are studies that show that on cloudy day the sun is harder on your skin? And there are other studies that show that you should wear sun screen under your make up ever day. But not all sun screens are made the same. Instead a lot are filled with chemicals that are harsh on your skin.
To find a sun screen that is not only gentle on your skin, but moisturizes as well is hard to do. I was sent a bottle of Ocean Elements Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sheer Daily Moisture to try out and review. It is not filled with aton of chemicals that I can’t pronounce, but instead is made up of things I know like almond oil, and soybean. 
Ocean Elements sunscreen is a thicker lotion, but is easy to come out out of the bottle with a little squeeze. The consistency is smooth and it goes on smooth and doesn’t get clumpy at all. Unlike a lot of lotions, the broad spectrum lotion dries quickly and without an oily residue. That makes it perfect to put on for every day use or you can wear under your makeup every day without it effecting the consistency of your makeup. Inside each uses elements you can fin in nature. The main marine ingredients included are:
- Porphya umbilicalis – for natural UV protections
- Lamirnaria digitata – for superior hydration
- hydrolyzed collagen – repairs and builds elasticity
- Pseudoptergorgia elisabethae – powerful anti-inflammatory
- Chondrus crispus – rich in essential materials
Just using the Ocean Elements sunscreen for a a couple weeks my skin was soft and smooth. I like the idea of being able to help moisturize my skin and know that my skin is protected from the sun as well.
