With it’s Thanksgiving release, Coco is going to bring a new look at the Day of the Dead to theaters all over the world. The movie is filled with love, family and tradition. With the release of the movie only a couple weeks away Disney has released not only a brand new trailer for the colorful movie, but also a fun set of recipes for Pan de Muerto & Hot Chocolate.
Pan de Muerto is a sweet bread that is made also called pan de los muertos or dead bread in the United States, is a type of sweet roll traditionally baked in Mexico during the weeks leading up to the Día de Muertos, which is celebrated on November 1 and 2. While the holiday has passed this year, you may want to give you hand at making these recipes or to have it on hand for next year. Coco will have you researching more into the day of the Dead and possibly looking into celebrating it yourself.
