To say there has been a boom in Fairy Gardens in the past couple of years would be an understatement. Fairy Gardens are everywhere and a big business. As adults, we love them – but kids are fascinated by the tiny houses, accessories and of course the fairies! But the items we may place in the garden are too expensive and often easily breakable to give to kids to play with. So PlayMonster came up with their own line of kid aged Fairy Garden sets that are durable, work and quite adorable.
We were sent the My Fairy Garden Magical Cottage playset to check out. The whole set comes in one box, and is made out of durable plastic instead of breakable terracotta. The fairy house fits into the base and a top garden area actually has a large mushroom “sprinkler” system that helps water the whole system. Besides being extremely easy to assemble (without tools too!), the set comes with miniature gardening tools your kids can use to plant their own seeds and tend their gardens as well as a resident fairy for the garden.
But that’s not all young gardeners get with this set. My Fairy Garden Magical Cottage playset comes with soil discs and seeds to get started. This means after a quick assembly, your child can start their own fairy garden inside the day they get the set. The set is a great way to introduce your kids to gardening and fairy gardens all while they’re able to play with their own fairy in her own home. It’s an adorable and fun playset for kids starting in the 4 year old age group, but due to the plant maintenance maybe go a bit older.
