Miss Bala is Empowering and Entertaining

Often when you put on an action movie, what you don’t find is a woman as the lead. Yes, they’re in the movie – sometimes as the love interest, or something to move the story along. But Miss Bala is here to change that.

Not only does Miss Bala take a different approach to the typical action movie, but it builds up with comedy and some smart action moments, you’re going to find yourself falling in love with the story. Gloria is a believable character and one that you find yourself rooting for her as you watch her grow into herself. It’s empowering to watch her find herself, play the different agencies against each other and to find the strength she has inside.
