I love eating a cold crisp apples, but my daughters love the spiral corer peeler thingy we have and they eat the apples off their thumbs.

I find I can never go wrong with a nice firm Red Delicious apple for snacking. I also have an old Swedish family recipe for Apple Cake that we all love ~ I use Granny Smiths for that one (and sometimes Golden Delicious.)
