Making New Goals to Reach For #Behindtheblogger

best of you

best of youLife has a way of redirecting you. You may have dark days, or may not know exactly where the path is taking you but each and every turn on your journey is leading you to the best of you. Lately, I’ve been questioning the path I’ve taken and why there are times that it is doesn’t seem to work out how I had it planned.

Don’t get me wrong, I love my life and where I am at in it, but what I don’t love is the struggle that I seem to have at times. Why it always seems I’m a paycheck behind, why I balance two jobs and the blog. Why I have four degrees and fight to make ends meet every time. Although there are times that it gets overwhelming to me, and I will break down and cry – it doesn’t mean I let it take over my goals.

I use this as a stepping point, as a way to get where my goals are actually taking me. I use it as a motivation and a way to push forward. I set new goals, smaller and more obtainable to lead me to the ultimate goal. This past weekend I spent my free time setting new goals, making small steps and leading myself on the right path. These will get me where I need to go, and the best of me will continue to shine through.

What tips do you have for achieving your ultimate goals?

Thank you for reading a story from #BehindTheBlogger Hop. Every 2 weeks a group of bloggers is given a writing prompt. These prompts are very open ended, so our bloggers can write about whatever they desire. The main rule is that their blog post directly relates to the topic of that week. The point of this hop is for our readers to get to know us on a personal level.
Please hop along and read all of the blog posts in this weeks hop. Just click the links below. If you want real and raw emotion, then you will find it here. After you read each post, please comment and share. We want to get to know you too!
