Little Scholar Tablet Review

Little Scholars New Tablet Helps Get Your Little One Ready for School + Giveaway!

little scholarSchool may be out, but that doesn’t mean that learning has to stop. School Zone has created a bunch of new products to help your kids have fun learning while they’re not in school, and even before they even start school! They sent us a selection of their Little Scholars books, flash cards and even their new Little Scholars tablet for ages 3-7. All jammed packed with learning fun!

Little Scholar Tablet ReviewThe Little Scholars Tablet is a 8 inch Android Tablet with a multitouch interface. We’re not talking about cheap tablet made to just run a couple things either, instead the tablet has 8 GB of storage and is expandable up to 32 GB. The tablet can grow with your child, and comes with traditional things you’d expect like a camera, and even parental controls (these are pretty awesome actually). But one of the best things it comes with – is a ton of educational software and games for your kids.  The tablet is loaded with over 200 apps already installed, including videos, books, and music. The tablet retails at only $170, but has well over $400 in value inside.

Little Scholar Tablet ReviewWhen we first unboxed the tablet, we were thrilled to find that not only did it have a full charge – but it also comes with a bumper case! It doesn’t protect the screen, so I would suggest adding one of those. But the bumper case is textured and thick rubber so the tablet is protected if it’s dropped. With the case on the tablet, and a full charge, we were ready to power on and play with the new tablet.

Little Scholar Tablet ReviewAs I mentioned before, the tablet has over 200 apps built in. And while all of them are educational, some seem to be more fun than learning! We could build puzzles, sing songs and even watch episodes of the Charlie and Company, a new live action animation show created just for School Zone! The show features performances and original music by Brian Vander Ark of The Verve Pipe – yes, that Verve Pipe!

Little Scholar Tablet ReviewI loved how responsive the tablet is, and it probably is more up to date and has more power than the tablet I have for myself. The games are targeted for ages 3-7, and you can choose the right game level for your kids. But on the parents side, you can also view a report on how well your child is doing in the games and see their “grades”. This is a great way to track how they are learning, if there are special areas that you need to focus on before the school year starts, or if they need to be bumped up a level if things are just too easy for them.

Coupled with the educational books, a travel case, flash card and a plush Levi Cottonwood, we’re ready to learn all summer long, on the go or at home. You can find the Little Scholars tablet online on the School Zone Website, on Amazon, and locally at Meijer stores.

School Zone wants your little one to learn this summer and help them excel! They’re giving one of my readers their own Little Scholars 8 inch tablet, and learning tools! Read how you can win below.
