Strap in for a fun ride with the latest LEGO holiday special to hit Disney+. This past Friday, LEGO Star Wars Terrifying Tales hit the small screen – a 45-minute long collection of stories that blend some of our favorite Star Wars characters with some of the best bad guys and movies we know.
It doesn’t matter how old viewers are when it comes to the LEGO holiday specials, especially the Halloween ones – they’re great for all ages. Not only are they kid-safe when it comes to young viewers (no cursing or real violence) but the scary moments are tempered with humor and not scary at all. This simple balance makes the stories, the series, and all of special in general a great way for kids and parents to enjoy the stories together and make new holiday traditions.
And LEGO Star Wars Terrifying Tales fits that trend perfectly. The series brings back our favorite heroes and bad guys in the Star Wars franchise, including even the more recent movies, and made for streaming services. But blends them with scary movies of all decades. Who thought there would be a Lost Boys, Star Wars, and LEGOs cross over? We didn’t know that was something we needed but apparently, it was! It’s moments like these that fans will laugh along with them bring them back time and again.
With an attention to detail, a dedication to fans and more – the LEGO Star Wars shows are made to be enjoyed by everyone. If you’re only a casual fan of the series, or if you are dedicated to LEGO, Star Wars or Horror movies in general, this small collection of tales is fun way to enjoy them and share them with your whole family.

About LEGO Star Wars Terrifying Tales
After the events of “The Rise of Skywalker,” Poe and BB-8 must make an emergency landing on the volcanic planet Mustafar where they meet the greedy and conniving Graballa the Hutt who has purchased Darth Vader’s castle and is renovating it into the galaxy’s first all-inclusive Sith-inspired luxury hotel. While waiting for his X-Wing to be repaired, Poe, BB-8, Graballa, and Dean (a plucky and courageous young boy who works as Graballa’s mechanic) venture deep into the mysterious castle with Vader’s loyal servant, Vaneé. Along the way, Vaneé shares three creepy stories linked to ancient artifacts and iconic villains from across all eras of Star Wars. As Vaneé spins his tales and lures our heroes deeper into the shadowy underbelly of the castle, a sinister plan emerges. With the help of Dean, Poe and BB-8 will have to face their fears, stop an ancient evil from rising, and escape to make it back to their friends.
