Every once in a while there’s a new hero story that comes out. Next summer, Focus Features is partnering with LAIKA Studios for a new animated Epic Kubo and the Two Strings. The film follows Kubo, who earns a living telling stories in his seaside town. During a story telling he accidentally summons a spirit from his past, who comes to enforce and age-old vendetta. Kubo leaves his small village to run away from the spirit and solve a the mystery of his father’s death. Kubo’s quest will take him on a journey to find himself, his destiny and save his family. With voice talents featuring Art Parkinson, George Takei, Cary-Hiroyku Tagawa, Charlize Theron and Matthew McConaughey the movie is bound to be an epic hero quest you’ll fall in love with.
