Our morning routines before work or school can get hectic when you can’t find that one specific item. But if you start the school year off right, and keep organized it can reduce the amount of stress of getting ready in the morning. This year, Spectrum Diversified is helping us stay organized and wants to help one of our readers keep their dorm, apartment, or bathroom organized to make the morning routines that much easier.
Spectrum Diversified sent a huge selection of their new organization line for bathrooms, which come in pink, teal and white – so you can pick and choose what works best for your bathroom space. They included their Styling Caddy, Over The Cabinet Dryer Holder, Styling Station, Grid Over the Cabinet Styling Center, Macklin Medium Basket, and a Scoop Medium Basket. Each set in stylish colors and to help tackle my bathroom organization problems.
While my bathroom is relatively large, it only has a pedestal style sink with no extra counter space. I did install an over toilet shelving system, but it just becomes a collector of things every day. Sometimes finding what I need isn’t as easy as it should be. I used the Spectrum Styling Station as a great way to organize the items I use day to day. The Styling Station can hold your blow dryer, flat iron or whatever you need day to day. I found it perfect for the daily items I need, and my brush finally has a home (instead of behind the faucet). This keeps everything contained, clean and organized. It’s a simple solution and fits well with the items I already have in the bathroom.
Now, under the sink – I just tend to call that a hazard zone. We reach in and grab what we need and after I clean the bathroom – everything is just sort of tossed back in. There aren’t shelves, or really any way to organize in there. The plumbing location does cause a bit of a headache for organization, but with a couple tools from Spectrum Diversified we were able to fix that in no time as well.
The first thing I added to the cabinet area for organization was the Grid Over the Cabinet Styling Center. The basket portion can hold any styling products and the outer loops can hold your hair styling tools like blow dryers or flat irons. That is of course, unless you have a giant hair dryer like mine – then it fits well in the center basket. The outer loops will hold my flat iron and possibly a wider head brush, but I’m happy to have the hair dryer off the cabinet floor and away from cleaners.
Besides being helpful and creating organization space for my hair tools and products, the Grid Over the Cabinet Styling Center also has something else going for it – it has padded hooks. The two hooks that go over the top of the cabinet have a soft foam pad on the inside. This will help prevent any scratching of surfaces and damage to your cabinets. We have similar products in our kitchen that do not have padding and have worn down the finish on top of the finish – this is a great way to stop that from happening right from the beginning – and can be a big benefit if you’re renting!
I also wanted to make sure anything that wasn’t a cleaner was separated and easy to find under the sink as well. This makes it easy to find, get to quickly  and helps keep paper items away from the plumbing in case there are ever any water leaks. The Macklin basket was perfect for this and made for a quick organization of items. I love the industrial style of the basket and the size as well.
Reorganizing my bathroom to make my morning routine probably took me less than 10 minutes, and everything has a quick and easy to find home now. It’s the small changes that make all the difference when you’re in a hurry.
Spectrum Diversified is giving one of my readers the same home organization products they sent me to keep you on schedule when you head back to school. Read how you can win below!

My biggest organization issue in the bathroom is space.
Nothing is organized everything is just tossed under the sink.
My organizational problem in the bathroom is having too many bottles of personal care items.
I need the Grid Over the Cabinet Styling Center for my bathroom.
My biggest bathroom concern is not having enough space for all of my styling products.
My biggest organizational challenge is that I don’t have enough storage space – I have one bathroom that doesn’t have any cabinets.
My big organization problem is the cabinets under the sink. Nothing is organized and it’s always a mess.
I have an issue with towels in my closet. I need the Macklin basket the most.
The organizational challenge in my bathroom is that it’s just too not big enough! Always running out of places to put things.
Our bathroom is pretty unorganized and things are just put in the drawers if they fit! 🙂 I would love to get it all organized and everything to have a place!

I have too many things
My biggest organization issue in the bathroom is space. 9/02
My biggest issue is not having space, enough closets and I’m hopelessly unorganized.
My biggest organizational issue in the bathroom is just space. There are 4 of us that share a really tiny bathroom.
Space is a premium in my bathrooms.
All my skin care takes up70% of our storage. Kind of unfair to the man of the house. haha
My problem areas are my bathroom cupboards and my pantry! Would LOVE this!
My biggest organization problem in the bathroom is a tie between kids bath toys and the clutter around the sink (mouthwashes, eye drops etc)
My bathroom is a mess! The biggest problem is that we moved into this house and just kind of threw things together before doing a huge kitchen remodel. Now I am trying to get organized. My bathroom closet could use all of these organizers.
My biggest issue is the styling items are so big and use all my space. I really like the Grid Over the Cabinet Styling Center.
We lack storage in our bathroom
