Everything we do has an impact on our future and that of everyone else’s. It seems odd to think of the world this way sometimes, but we’re all connected, even if we can’t see it. With our technology obsessed lives, there’s not much that is hidden anymore or our opinions often fly without much of a second thought. Over the past year or so, I’ve watched as social media has not only helped build a lot of relationships, but also tears them down. I’ve made the active decision not to take part in that type of discussion on my own personal Facebook page or on my website.
I created this website years ago to share how to survive being unemployed, and it has morphed and changed along with my life. One thing my website has never has been is a place that will offend others, push beliefs or agendas on others. While the website is considered news and media, it would probably be considered more an entertainment website than anything else. Don’t search my site for the latest news – unless you want to know about the latest movie coming out. You wont find anything salacious, anything charged or controversial. It’s not who I am, or what this site was created for. If you’re looking for that – there are plenty of other sites out there.
I do this for very simple reasons – because I love you, because I love me and we all need a bit of sanity. I do this because everyone deserves a safe place and site to visit without being attacked and worrying about someone spewing factual or non-factual information at them. I do this because with the darkness in the world, there is enough we have in common we can come together over certain things.
So enjoy the latest movie trailer, interviews from stars, a recipe or even find out about the latest toys. I do this for you, and me and everyone else.
