Homemade Shamrock Shake Recipe
It’s March! You know what that means – Shamrock shakes! The last time I had one they’re not the same ones we grew up with… They’re neon green, they’re full of fake flavor and just not what I wanted!
So how do we get the flavor we grew up with? That great minty flavor with a touch of chocolate and is a cool green tone? Well, we’ll have to make it ourselves!
It’s a simple recipe, just combine all of the ingredients, blend and enjoy. I made these gluten free too so any one can enjoy them. What a nice treat for this time of year, and probably a lot cheaper too! I don’t know anyone who doesn’t crave them!
Ingredients:
- 2 cups French Vanilla Ice Cream
- 1/2 cup 2% Milk
- 1 Tbsp Green Food Coloring
- 2 tsp Peppermint Extract
- 10 Hershey Kisses
Directions:
- Combine all of your ingredients in your blender and blend until smooth. You may have to start and stop it a couple times, and scrape the sides down.
- Enjoy!
This will make 2 small shakes or one large 🙂
