I don’t think my summer’s as a kid would have been the same without Hey Dude – the teen drama where kids are working on a dude ranch- dubbed as an American Western comedy. I remember sitting on the floor of the living room and cracking up. The show is based on a fictional ranch outside Tuscon, Arizona and their summer workers.
Children of the 80’s and 90’s rejoice, Shout Factory and Nickelodeon have released the complete series of Hey Dude on DVD, so we can all relive the moments we loved as kids. Shout Factory sent me a copy to watch and enjoy one of my favorite shows growing up. I’m sure we use to drive our parents nuts watching Hey Dude non-stop as kids. And what seems a bit campy, by today’s standards the series is full of family friendly comedy and fun.
