New Years 2016

Goodbye 2015 – Hello New Year!

It’s a new year, that means it’s time for changes, new beginnings and much much more. I’m not sure what to expect in the new year, but I have a feeling that it will be great opportunities and growth. Normally I like to start the new year with a couple goals for what we’re going to be doing with the website, but this year I’d like to take a bit to reflect on a some of our favorite moments of this past year.

toothless at dreamworksThis past year was our fifth year blogging, and 2015 has shown the largest amount of growth so far! In the past year we saw the newest innovations in cars at NAIAS, traveled to Chicago (twice), saw world records be broken by Pyrex at IHHS, got our nerd on at Motor City Comic Conadded a bee hive to our yard, went to New York City for Blogger Bash and Blogher, saw the Blue Man Group, visited Frankenmuth for a little taste of Bavaria, traveled to LA to DreamWorks Animations Studio to meet Toothless and do a voiceover for DinoTrux, went down south to Kentucky and sampled moonshine, headed back to LA to celebrate Disneyland’s 60th Anniversary and Diamond Celebration, met the stars of Tomorrowland, and learned how to draw the Genie from Aladdin and then headed to Tuscon to relax at Canyon Ranch, and ended it all with Honda at the Holidays! I am truly humbled and amazed at every opportunity we’ve had in the past year, and can’t wait to see what the next year brings for the blog.

Last year our goals were pretty simple to grow the site, continue to work on gluten free and healthy recipes and living healthier. We’ve done all of those things – and will continue on that path. I plan on growing our garden as well as our bee hives, and encouraging my readers to live healthier happier lives.

2016 is going to be magical, and I’m happy you’re on this journey with me! Here’s to heading into a new year, new challenges and new adventures!
