Cooking gluten free can be a pain, extra ingredients, flours you never knew existed, gums and more. Remember the day when you could grab a box of cookie mix or brownies and have some warm yummy goodness in under a half hour? Thankfully, Betty Crocker has mixes to make it easier for all of us on the gluten free diet!
We’ve been using Betty Crocker mixes for years, so when they first came out with their gluten free mixes I was thrilled. I could quickly make brownies, or cake and not have to worry about making my own mixes. that’s not saying I don’t still, but sometimes I still want to make something sweet and quickly. Betty Crocker not only offers gluten free brownie mixes, chocolate chip cookies and cakes, but now have added sugar cookies and a flour blend to their line up!
We’ve been using their gluten free brownie mix for the past couple of years, and I’ll be honest it’s Jason’s favorite brownies! I can make any other kind, but they just wont do, even ones from scratch wont satisfy his cravings when it comes to brownies.
The mixes are so easy to use, and are a great thing to have on hand and great for us to grab off the shelf when we’re in the mood for something sweet and quick. But the mix isn’t everything when baking, you have to make sure you have the right tools!

I’m a pretty avid baker, I go through gluten free flour quickly in our house and have a wide variety of tools to get baking. But this baker’s kit had goodies in it I didn’t have, as well as some that I had never seen!
