Noel Night
DIA Noel Night
If you are fortunate enough to live in the Metro-Detroit, Michigan area, which I know some of you are, I hope you are also fortunate enough to have heard about Noel Night! Noel Night is an annual event downtown Detroit in the Mid-town area focusing on a night to celebrate the season!
The Mid-town area of Detroit is known for the art and culture that is around the area. On Noel Night, these institutions open their doors to the public. The Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA), the Opera House, and over 100 locations open their doors to the public on Saturday night!

It is a city wide celebration – the area is locked down, and it is walking traffic or a shuttle will take you around to the different events. Don’t forget to check out the horse drawn carriage rides down Woodward Avenue!

You can even find a printable Noel Night Schedule Now!

I’ve always wanted to attend Noel Night – but can’t – why not? Well, I’m a vendor at one of the locations! I help plan the Youtique: A Handmade Holiday art show located inside Old Main’s Lobby. We have over 40 Michigan Artists this year and hope a few of you can come on out to visit us!

So if you are a local reader, and have some free time come on out and visit!

Noel Night – Saturday December 3rd, 5:00 pm – 9:30 pm
Youtique: A Handmade Holiday – Old Main, Wayne State University 2:00 pm – 9:00 pm
