Fig and Goat Cheese Stuffed Crescent Bread

Fig and Goat Cheese Stuffed Crescent Bread
Earlier this week I did my first attempt at gluten free crescent rolls. I loved them, and the dough made more than enough than we needed for dinner. So I set half of the homemade dough aside and thought I’d make a sweet and delicious bread bread as a side for another meal. I combined a few of my favorite flavors and stuffed it with goat cheese, figs and basil – it came out so good! You could even drizzle it with honey or agave to make it a nice desert bread.

Core Bamboo Board

While working on this recipe I used a  large magenta cutting board from Core Bamboo. Not only was it useful for cutting up the basil and figs but it was the perfect size to use as a work surface.

We have a small kitchen, so while making dinner I often run out of space. So while my counters were filled with other items – I used the board over a portion of the stove top. Core Bamboo’s large cutting boards measure 18″ x 12″, making them the perfect extra work surface. It gave me plenty of space to roll out dough, cut it and get ready for making this recipe.

Besides the size of the board, I love that the cutting board is made of bamboo, a quickly renewable resource. Not only is it beautifully constructed but it’s not going to have a negative impact on the environment as well! Core Bamboo has a large selection of rolling pinsutensils and even measuring baking boards! They’re a great addition to the kitchen.
