This June, ElectricNOW, the newly expanded streaming platform featuring over 60 channels of comfy heist and mystery TV, along with other special niche programming, is delivering a packed lineup of fan-favorite shows. Beginning with a special tribute to Emmy Award®-winning actor Noah Wyle, ElectricNOW will run a 24-hour marathon of programs featuring Noah on his birthday – June 4. And speaking of birthdays… a dedicated event celebrating Christian Kane’s June 27 birthday will follow. And don’t forget dad…the streaming platform will also feature special father-figure episodes on Father’s Day, in addition to “Leverage” and “Leverage: Redemption” marathons from the Electric library that are perfect for pops. Noah Wyle Day – June 4
Fans can celebrate Noah Wyle’s birthday by binge-watching all of the Electric Entertainment originals he stars in, including “The Librarian” films, “The Librarians” series, and “Leverage: Redemption.” The adventure begins with the trio of made-for-TV movies “The Librarian: Quest for the Spear,” “The Librarian: Return to King Solomon’s Mines,” and “The Librarian: Curse of the Judas Chalice,” introducing viewers to the fantastic world of Flynn Carsen (Wyle), a not-so-ordinary librarian tasked with protecting powerful magical artifacts. His mission carries on in the continuation series “The Librarians,” which enlists the help of Rebecca Romijn, Lindy Booth, Christian Kane, and John Larroquette, among other guest stars. The team safeguards the world’s most dangerous relics across four seasons.
Then Wyle takes on the role of Harry Wilson in the Amazon original series, “Leverage: Redemption,” also starring Aldis Hodge, Gina Bellman, Beth Riesgraf, Christian Kane, and Aleyse Shannon. Wyle plays a lawyer from New Orleans who previously represented shady people and bad businesses, now in search of earning his redemption.
Father’s Day Marathon – June 21
This Father’s Day, viewers can kick back and relax with special father-figure episodes from “Leverage” and “Leverage: Redemption.” Two marathons from the series, featuring dad-driven themes, will run back-to-back, including: The Inside Job, The Three Card Monte Job, The Radio Job, The Low Low Price Job, The Bucket Job and The Fractured Job.
Christian Kane’s Birthday – June 27
Closing out the month and in celebration of the long-running Electric Entertainment star’s birthday, ElectricNOW will be running a marathon of of the Christian Kane-led series “Almost Paradise.” Both seasons of the high-octane crime drama will be available to binge. Kane stars as Alex Walker, a former U.S. DEA agent who was forced into early retirement. Once the DEA’s most resourceful undercover operative, the combination of Alex’s partner’s betrayal and a life-threatening battle with hypertension has sent him as far from the madness as he can go – a small tropical island in the Philippine Archipelago where he purchases a run-down gift shop at the Paradise hotel. However, the criminal activity on the island keeps drawing him back into his old life.
And, if that’s not enough for fans of the “Leverage” franchise, the third season of “Leverage: Redemption” will be available to purchase on the platform beginning June 9.
