Beloved horror anthology miniseries based on the ‘90s kids’ cult classic, Are You Afraid of the Dark? will be available as a limited series three-season collection through Paramount Home Entertainment and Nickelodeon. The series introduces all-new Midnight Society groups of kids who tell terrifying tales that lead to spooky and shocking revelations.
The reimagined “Are You Afraid of the Dark?” premiered in October 2019 as a limited series and introduced a new Midnight Society as they tell a scary story only to have the events of the story come to life. Season two Are You Afraid of the Dark?: Curse of the Shadows, premiered in February 2021 and followed a new group of kids, who learn of a terrifying curse cast over their small town and are haunted by a mysterious creature. The third chapter, Are You Afraid of the Dark?: Ghost Island, premiered in July 2022 and features another Midnight Society as they go on vacation on a resort island, until they learn about something sinister haunting the guests. Thanks for having ‘Are You Afraid of the Dark’ Limited Series Three Season Collection giveaway! Actually, my favorite spooky story is true, and of a personal and paranormal nature that happened to me some years back. This is my story:
My encounter and story was/is of a paranormal nature! I had encountered a hooded shadow being while at my job. Here’s my story: Back in 2000, while on the job (at the time, I was a grounds keeper for an apartment complex). It was around 11:50 am, a nice clear day…I was pushing my supply cart back to the work shop and enroute, about thirty to thirty five feet in front of me, I had noticed an odd looking individual (or so I thought, at that brief moment) that appeared to have moved really quickly in front of me between the apartment complex carport areas, it was moving from one carport area going across to the back end of the apartment building. It looked as though it was actually floating, almost sliding close to the ground rather quickly, it definitely wasn’t walking fast! It was all black (like a black shadow) and it looked as if it had a hood over its head. It looked really strange, the figure was humanoid, but I couldn’t see any facial features, arms or skin, etc. The best way to describe what I saw was a black shadowy being, a three dimentional silhouette. It did however, have two legs…but I didn’t see its feet…maybe that explains why it was floating/sliding along close to the ground and not walking. I quickly ran up to where it had passed (out of curiosity, but I have to admit I was also scared) and it vanished and nothing was there. This encounter had taken place really quick, it lasted just a few seconds…then it was gone! Thanks for having this awesome giveaway! And for the opportunity to be able to participate!
