About Glenlore Trails: Witching Hour

Tickets are now on sale for Glenlore Trails, Michigan’s largest immersive and illuminated walk-thru forest experience, that transforms a one-mile forest trail in Commerce Township. Glenlore Trails is known for creating over the top experiences, with new enhanced themes each year.  Glenlore Trails fall theme is Witching Hour, an all-new immersive nighttime adventure that promises to be the most enchanting experience yet. This family friendly event runs from September 25 through November 2.  Guests can journey along the illuminated mile-long wooded path every Thursday through Sunday evening, discovering a glowing whimsical experience under the stars.

In Witching Hour, glowing spells will dance across towering trees, illuminating shadows and lights will take over the forest, and mysterious sounds will echo throughout during this interactive night walk under the moonlight.

The creative force behind Glenlore Trails is Michigan based and woman owned, Bluewater Technologies, one of the most trusted event staging and AV integrators in the country. For the last six years, Bluewater and their award-winning team have transformed the natural forest landscape into an immersive wonderland using interactive LED walls, projection mapping, synchronized audio systems, and responsive lighting. They implement technology that supports the narrative and theme of each seasonal activation, bringing life to the forest, fully immersing and captivating guests, and providing an unforgettable immersive night walk experience.

“Each year we keep Glenlore feeling fresh and exciting, while still delivering on an atmosphere and theme that guests come to expect,” stated Bluewater Creative Director Eric Minni. “It’s a mix of making sure we stay on-brand given the holiday, while adding a bit of our own experiential flare which keeps the balance of bringing back fan favorites from past seasons, while introducing something new to keep things unexpected and magical.”

Each night, starting at dusk, the one-mile forest trail will come to life with a dazzling display of lights, sounds, and wonder. Glenlore Trails is an outdoor experience, that takes approximately one hour to complete and is set up along a wooded, manicured (not paved) trail. It can accommodate strollers, wagons, and wheelchairs with larger wheels, though visitors should be aware that the surface may be more challenging for smaller wheels.  The event runs rain or shine, offering a fresh experience no matter the weather. Glenlore Trails Witching Hour makes for an unforgettable experience for all ages, and is a great family outing, a fun-filled hangout with friends, or a magical date night.

Glenlore’s gathering areas offer with seating, food trucks, and seasonal treats.  Guests are encouraged to come early to enjoy prior to their walk, or stop in after your walk, as a finale to your experience.

Some things visitors can experience along the journey:
