DIY Paint Sample Monsters
Paint Sample Monsters
With just a few supplies and a little time, you can make some fun and cute monsters with your kids. This craft uses paint strip samples you can pick up at the store in the hardware section but you only need a couple! It’s a quick and fun craft for a slow afternoon or even a rainy day.

Paint Sample Monsters

What you need:

  • A couple of paint strips – For Frankenstein you need green and for Pumpkins you will need orange!
  • Construction paper
  • White glue (Elmers or similar)
  • Scissors

That’s it!

Remember the paint sample strips are free, but that does not mean take all of them. One or two of each color will be enough for your project!

Now – let’s make a couple monsters!

Paint Sample Monsters

To make pumpkins choose your favorite orange colors and cut in an oval pattern. Decorate however you want for your pumpkin face. You can also cut the colors and stack together to make one without the words and white lines.

Frankenstein – well his head is square so just cut straight on one of the lines – choose the top three darkest colors. Accent in black to make him and his bolts!

The fun of this craft is to make it your own. All you need is the supplies, scissors and creativity. Glue your construction paper to the paint samples and you have your monsters! 🙂
