Spending time with your child’s favorite characters this holiday season is important. We often get too busy and forget they need a sense of routine even as we run around. This year your little ones can have spend some quality time with their favorite Dinosaur Train characters thanks to PBS Kids! They sent Goonie some of their newest products to review for the holidays.
The first item Goonie had to review was the new Dinosaur train movie “We Are A Dinosaur Family”. A fun new movie that has Buddy, Tiny, Mr. Pteranodon and other favorites visit their families just in time for the holidays. The collection features eight new short shows that help reinforce the importance of family and what the holidays bring to that connection. This fun set is great for your little ones.
Goonie loves Dinosaur Train, after all it does combine two of his favorite things. And even at four he can tell you all about the dinosaurs he’s learned about, and even how to spell and properly pronounce their names. We love how excited about anything Dinosaur Train he gets, and we encourage the family friendly shows and messages that they all share.
We were also sent a new 24 piece Triceratops puzzle to play with and review. The set comes with some bonus Dinosaur fact cards – more information for Goonie to learn about his favorite dino friends! The puzzle is for ages 3 and up, and has larger pieces so smaller hands can handle them. With small hands, the larger pieces are great to help Goonie work on spatial relationships.
One of the his favorite goodies in the holiday pack is the Dinosaur Train Peel and Stick Wall Decals! Not only can he put his favorite Dinosaur Train characters on the walls of his playroom that is being set up, but he can move them around over and over again. What we like about them – they don’t leave any residue on the wall.
After Goonie was done with his adventures, we were able to snuggle up with a new book – Dinosaur Train “Winter Lights”. The Pteranodon family goes to the North Pole and gets to see the northern lights! What an exciting trip for them, and you to go on.
The new Dinosaur train products are great for your little one and the holiday season. Goonie loves the new adventures and ways to interact with his favorite characters. It is great winter fun and helps reinforce the family friendly themes and stories.
