Digipuppets Make Educational Apps and Reading Fun!

Digipuppets review

Digipuppets reviewMore often than not, you’re going to see kids playing or watching something on a tablet now-days. Thankfully, there are a lot of great educational games for them to play with and use. Digipuppets is changing the way children play with these games, and taking a bit of separation from the screen to include regular toys and play with their interactive apps.

Digipuppets reviewWe were sent Honey Bunny, an adorable blue bunny finger puppet from Digipuppets. She’s made of soft plastic, but fits on your finger (even adults) like a traditional finger puppet. First, Honey Bunny is adorable and super soft, we didn’t find any rough edges on her and she has a welcoming smile and face.

The Digipuppets don’t actually have any technology inside of them, so you wont need to worry about your child breaking them or finding small parts. But instead, they are actually finger puppet stylus that use their noses to control the app your child is playing with. There are currently two different Digitpuppets you can choose from, and each has their own free app you can get on iOS or Android devices with touch screens. Your options are Honey Bunny or Zip the Zebra. Right now on the Google Play store you can find an app for each, and Honey Bunny’s is all about sharing. The apps allow your child to have them read to them, interact with the scene their Digipuppets are in, or read the stories themselves and advance with their new figure puppet. The Digipuppets work with all other apps as well, and when it’s time for a break from screen time can be great for imaginative play!

You can find Digipuppets on their website or at Bloomingdales for only $9.99! They’re perfect for stocking stuffers or great add on gifts for the young tech users in your life.
