The Piping Gourmets offers one product in their snack line – Whoopie Pies, and they come in six different flavors. You can choose between traditional chocolate cake filled with raspberry, mint, vanilla or chocolate frosting, or vanilla cake filled with lemon or vanilla frosting. Each package comes with four whoopie pies, individually wrapped and ready to enjoy.

It was a little hard for me to find a store near me that had any of the Whoopie Pie in stock, but I found that one of our local health food stores had a few of the flavors in stock. It was hard choose between mint, vanilla and raspberry filling – but I had to try the raspberry first!

Every box of the Piping Gourmets whoopie pies can be found in the freezer section, and the instructions to enjoy them are simple – thaw and devour! Each cake is moist and delicious, but I did find that the moist texture and thawing could be a problem. I did have small bits of cake stick to the plastic wrap, but it wasn’t enough to detract from how good the cakes are!

One whoopie pie is enough for a filling dessert, and you can thaw out one at a time. For about $7, you get four perfectly sized desserts. And thawing them out is so much easier than making the cakes yourself and the frosting filling as well.

You can find The Piping Gourmets Whoopie Pies at stores near you!
