We all know that dental health is important – we’re taught that at an early age. Regular brushing, flossing and dental exams. But if you’re like me, and have sensitive gums you probably don’t like flossing (even though you know you should). That doesn’t mean I don’t want clean teeth or want to make sure my gums stay healthy.
In the past I’ve looked into oral irrigators (similar to waterpyks) but they have always been out of my budget. They are a great way to make sure your teeth and gums stay clean and do not require flossing. Toilettree Products recently sent me their Cordless Oral Irrigator to review and test out.
The Oral Irrigator comes with two seperate heads with different colored rings, so more than one person can use it. It has a refillable tank, different mode settings and is completely rechargeable. The whole unit is compact and can stand on its own so it is easily accessible.
When the irrigator arrived, the first thing I had to do was plug it in overnight, so that the battery has a full charge and will last for a while. I also removed the tank and filled it with water. The water reservoir can be filled through the flap on the top or the unit or removed completely and filled through the crew top opening. Our sink isn’t very deep so I found it easier to fill the water tank and reattach it.
Like, all tech related reviews – I didn’t want to read the instructions before using the item. I did charge it the recommended amount of hours, but I like to see how easy it is to use. You can change the mode to soft, normal or pulse – so if you have sensitive gums you wont feel like your mouth is being hit with hard water.
The first time I hit on (probably since I didn’t read the instructions) I had hilarious results – it shot all over the mirror and the bathroom. Whoops! Thankfully it was just water in the unit and I laughed at the mess I made. My second attempt went much better, I made sure it was correctly positioned and mode selected before I hit the power button. Within a couple minutes my whole mouth was done and clean. My teeth felt fresh and clean like I had just left the dentist chair.
Toilettree Products Oral Irrigator is extremely easy to use, and affordable compared to others on the market. I love that the unit is cordless and it doesn’t limit the range of motion or use while you’re using it. The refillable water tank makes it flexible and useful for anyone.

Used one years ago when they were called water picks
Only time i’ve ever used one is at the Dentist Office and they recommend my husband and I both use one, however, like you, we can’t afford one right now. It would be really nice to win this one. Thank You so much for the low down on it, I’ve always been afraid they would hurt, I know that flossing hurts my gums and sometimes even makes them bleed.
I have never used one but my grandma has and loves it
I have a bulky water pick system and would love a more portable one. I use it daily
