ModaPet sent me two of their designer bowls to review. Yes, our pets have standard food bowls – even an automatic feeder. But each night we give our girls a treat of wet food. Mostly to keep weight on them as they are getting older. For the past few months I’ve put their nightly treat on a small plate and walk away. We hear the plate scuttle across the floor and come out and find bits of their food all over the dining room area.
As soon as we started using the ModaPet bowls that stopped! Why? Not only do they have high enough sides that they keep their treat inside, but the bottoms are made of a TPE Polymer so they don’t move. You wont ever hear the bowl being chased through the house anymore.
Their bowls are also BPA free, so you wont have to worry about chemicals creeping into your pet’s food. They are also dishwasher safe, and have endured many washings (by hand) in our house. I have also put them in the microwave for short durations (15-20 seconds) since our girls don’t like if their food is too cold. After weeks of use they have not shown any damage or wear or tear.
