Old Time Candy Box Review

Old Time Candy All Decades Box Review + Giveway +  Discount Code

Old Time Candy All Decades BoxWhat happens when a 4 lb box of candy shows up at our house? It is stolen, someone goings through it and finds all of his favorites and hands it back. Yup, that’s exactly what happened when my review box came from Old Time Candy.

Old Time Candy is a site where not only can you find all of the candy you grew up with, but most likely the candy your parents grew up with too! Old Time Candy has candy from before 1920 all the way up to the candy you can find on the shelves today. Don’t worry it’s not stale or moldy, they work with companies to make the candies we’ve loved for decades. The only difference might be the labeling due

to laws. I found some of my favorite candies from growing up with “gluten free” across the label – imagine my surprise!

Old Time Candy All Decades Box

For my review box I chose an “All Decades Box”, the box is 4 lbs and each decade box could hold around 70 pieces of your favorite candy. I grew up in the 80’s with candy cigarettes, tootsie pops and all of those favorites. But I wanted to see what an All Decades box might have.

When we opened the box we saw things we recognized, Pixie Stix, Fun Dips, Sour Patch kids.. but what the heck was a Sky Bar, a Zagnut or a Maple Bun? We went through and chose are favorites and ones we would want to try. It was … well like being a kid in a candy store. And to answer the question what a Maple Bun is – it’s pure heaven! I had never heard of it before, and now I will be looking for them.

The joy of the All Decades box, you get to try new candies (or at least new to you). If you fall in love with one you can order JUST that candy from Old Time Candy! Yes, I’ve been pricing the Maple Buns.. yum!

How did the candy taste? The candy dots still stick to the paper like they did when we were kids, pop rocks still fizz and Zouts.. oh I forgot about how sour those get! We had a great time trying the different candies, and we’re still working through the box.

Know someone who loves a candy from their childhood? You can probably find it on Old Time Candy’s website. Think how surprised they be if you had a case of it waiting under the tree!  Right now you can order from Old Time Candy and save 10% on all of their candies: Gluten Free Candy, Sugar Free Candy and more! 1. i would probably choose the 90’s. mmm pop rocks 🙂 was born in 87 so not old enough to remember the good 80s candy

  2. I think maybe the 80s. That is when my sweet addiction probably really took hold., although the 70’s probably were the first gleamings.

  3. I would like to try 1960s or 1970s. Thanks for taking hubby and me down memory lane. Also, for the fabulous opportunity to win such a great prize.

  4. My husband and I were both born in the 70’s, so I think it would bring back good memories of being a kid and eating whatever we wanted!
