The holiday season is the time of year we spend time with our family, and this year we’re able to spend it with one of histories first families – The Croods! The first season of DreamWorks Dawn of the Croods will premier on Netflix on December 24th, and it’s perfect to keep the kids busy while you finish wrapping presents or cooking. Dreamworks sent me the Dawn of the Croods Activity Set to review and it is perfect to help entertain your kids while they’re home on holiday break.
Inside our Dawn of the Croods Holiday Activity Kit was fun goodies including:
- Hanging your very own “Dawn of the Croods” ornament in the shape of… a bone of course!
- A complete Croods Family Vehicle decal to customize how your family lives up to the Croods
- 1 set of 4 washable finger paint and rolled parchment to create your very own wrapping paper like the Croods did back in the day. This is a fun sensory activity and your family will love their finished masterpiece.
- A rustic burlap stocking
With Christmas at the end of the week, the kit is a lot of fun and will be a great way to help spend time with Goonie. We’re going to be making our own artwork with finger paints while we wait for the turkey to be done and dinner to be served – it’s probably one of my favorite things in the kid. Not only will it be a lot of fun to do with the family, but it’s a hands on art project that is tactile and can help build memories. And while we work on painting, you can bet that Dawn of the Croods will be on – since it’s on Netflix we can watch episode after episode!
Dawn of the Croods is a the back story of our favorite First Family from the 2013 DreamWorks film. It brings back some of our favorite characters like Eep, Ugga, Sandy, Thunk and Grug. Dawn of the Croods has the Croods taking the prehistoric Croodacious era by storm as they deal with modern-day problems for the first time ever in history. School, slumber parties and elections are some of the hilarious wonders of modern life The Croods are discovering!
