With Halloween coming we’re getting ready to have treats ready for the kids that come to the door, and of course a bag or two of extras for around the house. But during the busy holiday season, we often forget to include our furry friends when it comes to treats. In our house, I always make an effort to make sure that our cats get a treat for the holidays – sure they may not know it’s a holiday, but they’re part of our family too.

Halloween Cat Treat Ideas Meow MixThere is a big age difference in our cats, Godiva is going to be 14 this Christmas and our Jack Jack just turned 4. While their standard food is a dry food – we often supplement their diet with wet food, which both cats thing is the best treat they could have. That’s why we were thrilled to try out Meow Mix Simple Servings that we found at our local Meijer. Inside the 24 pack were three different types of wet food flavors including . Each package is a single serving which means I don’t need to portion out of a larger can. And with an easy to remove lid and a plastic container, I don’t need to re-plate the cat food since I don’t need to worry about sharp tin edges for them while they’re eating – but we still do on occasion 🙂
