Part of a our childhood art experience was shaped by a company we were are familiar with – Crayola! Recently they sent me their Get Out and Create gift kit to review and Goonie and I had our work to do.
The Get Out and Create kit includes:
- 1 package of Washable Sidewalk Chalk
- 1 Color Wonder Mini Stow and Go
- 1 Color Wonder Mess-Free Glitter Paper and Markers
Shortly after the Crayola package came Goonie and I set a date for an art day. We gathered up all of our goodies and went outside to use the sidewalk chalk first. Then it happened – the worst thing possible that could happen when using sidewalk chalk – it started to rain!
As much as Goonie wanted to go try it out in the rain, we convinced him to work inside. We could color inside the garage – after all sidewalk chalk never hurt anything.
The Crayola Washable chalk kit came with 24 colors. Each chalk was shaped like a large Crayola crayon and has the “anti-roll” shape so your tools wont roll away as you work! No more chasing the chalk in order to create your art work.
Since the rain was literally dampening our art day we ended up inside working on more art projects. Our kit also came with a Color Wonder Mini Stow and go -with 3 markers and a drawing pad, and a Color Wonder Glitter Paper and Marker set with 5 additional markers.
The mini stow and go is perfect for any upcoming trips – don’t we have a lot coming up with the holidays in the future? The markers only work on the paper, and we even tested the back side of the paper and nothing drew. No worries about the marker getting on the table, their skin or even the car interior if you’re on the road!
The best part about the Color Wonder Glitter Paper is all of your Color Wonder markers work on it – just when you use the markers you get the added bonus of shiny glittery pages. No mess, no extra glitter needed. Just color and the pages light up with glittery images of Disney Princesses or Fairies.
