The holiday season is full of to do lists and recipes that take hours. But sometimes, we just need a break. A break from the stress, from long to do lists and sometimes it’s time to have a nice festive drink. I’m a sucker for margaritas, and this fun holiday twist on a classic. So it back, make yourself a quick drink with a festive twist and take in the craziness that is the holiday season as it goes on around you!

cranberry margarita recipeIngredients:

  • 3 oz. tequila
  • 2 oz. Cointreau (or other orange liqueur)
  • 2 oz. cranberry juice
  • 3 Tbsp fresh lime juice

Garnish:

  • cranberry moscow mulefresh rosemary sprigs, bottom leaves removed, approximately 2-3” long
  • fresh cranberries
  • fresh lime wedges

Directions:

  1. To make cranberry sprig garnish, carefully thread 3 fresh cranberries onto tough rosemary stems. Set aside.
  2. Fill cocktail shaker with ice and add tequila, Cointreau, and both juices. Shake well and strain into ice-filled glasses. Garnish with rosemary sprigs and lime wedges, if desired. Serve immediately.
