Coupon Guilt

Do you have coupon guilt? Do you feel like you have to use every coupon before it expires?
What is it they say at the beginning of Extreme Couponing? Only 3% of coupons are redeemed nation wide. So why feel guilty? If you are using coupons to save money, to help your family out, or to help keep the books balanced you are using them right.

Don’t rush to try to use them all before they expire- you will end up spending more money than you need to. Use the ones you have and that you have the money for. Use what you can, and that will help your family out.If your coupon is expiring soon and you feel a need to use it but can’t -it’s ok. Put it in an envelope and send it to the troops. US Military personnel can use the coupons over seas and in the PX up to six months after the coupon expires. If you are looking for some place to send those poor unused coupons- check out the Community page.

If your coupon is expiring – it will be ok!  Don’t feel guilty, or the need to use every coupon in your binder. Remember you’re using coupons to save money – not spend every dollar you have on items you don’t need!

  1. I posted it because I was feeling it myself too 🙂 I did buy some Sun Chips yesterday on one coupon though 🙂 At least I didn’t feel as bad about it!
