Looking for something to do with your family this fall? Why not try a corn maze? All over the US farmers are opening up their farms to the public. It is a great way to support the local farmer and have wholesome farm fun. The top picks to visit are jammed packed with fun for the whole family and all ages.

Down in Micanopy, Florida, there is Coon Hollo. It offers not only an interactive corn maze It also has hay rides every 30 minutes. Do you like putt putt golf? Coon Hollo has pasture putt putt golf. Some of the other things Coon Hollo has for the family includes a farm yard obstacle course, fall field games, hay forts,a farm train and agriculture educational displays. 

If your interested in gift shops Coon Hollo has Nana’s Country Store which sells homemade jams, fresh baked breads, homemade jewelry, and souvenirs. Coon Hollo is trying something new this year. Christmas at Coon Hollo. It offers a Christmas movie, a nativity hay ride every 30 minutes, Christmas carolers, pictures with Santa and horse drawn carriage rides. It has an Ice slide for one weekend for children to experience. Lets not forget Nana’s gingerbread house contest.

Traveling to Illinois? Visit Hardy’s Reindeer Farm. Its corn maze pattern is a carnival this year. Hardy’s Reindeer Farm offers a reindeer tour where children get to see reindeer up close. It also offers a tractor driven buggy ride, petal race, a hay ride and the jack splat pumpkin cannon. Hardy’s Reindeer Farm has a paint ball gallery for those who love paint ball. To finish up the tour Hardy’s Reindeer Farm has a banquet hall and a gift shop.

Harvest Farms located in Colorado has a 10 acre corn maze. For the younger children they offer a petting zoo, a children’s playground, a barrel train, a kids bouldering wall climb, rubber ducky races, and a corn box wagon. The Harvest Farms offer tricycle track races, pig races, pumpkin baseball, a hay bale maze, and a hay ride. Harvest Farms has two different cannons, a corn cannon and a pumpkin cannon, It allows you to experience roping steer. To end the evenings they host a an evening campfire.

There are a lot of corn mazes in the US. The best ones are family oriented. Visit local farms and have fun.
