The summer is almost over, but let’s face it – bug season isn’t! We’ve had a hot summer so it’s kept some of the nasty pests away, but it’s starting to cool off. In our house we were starting to see an ant or two make their way around the kitchen again. Thankfully right as we started to get these cooler days, I was sent some Combat Ant Gel and traps to try and review!
Both products were super easy to use, the gel I put directly in the applicator and put it where I suspected the ants were coming in. It was a direct dose of “anti-ant” at the source instead of taking a guess and spraying everywhere. This immediately stopped them from coming in my kitchen. Thank goodness for that!
I did also use the ant traps, it has the bait inside that the ants go in and take back to the nest. While the gel did its magic, there still could be an ant or two that came through.
So with the traps in place, and the gel at the likely source I waited a couple days. I was looking for ants to come back in my kitchen. Since I used the products, I haven’t seen a single ant! We’ve only had one warm up day that would normally keep them away – but even on the cooler days – No Ants! It’s fantastic!

I love this stuff!
I could use that stuff every time it rains, lol! My house is on a concrete slab in Kansas and every time it rains I get ants throughout my house and those rolly-polly bugs in my 1 of my bathrooms.

Ive heard about this product and we have a bad ant problem and Ive used a bunch of products with crappy results

I have tried putting a line of cinnamon, it supposedly makes the ants turn away.
Never tried it – but we have major ant problems. We usually just mix up some water and borax and hide small cap fulls around the house – would love to win!
we have tried sprays and those gel traps (forget what brand those are) and they help at first but then they come right back!

we have those little tiny sugar ants, and spiders , a lot of spiders–mever tried this before
I have ants. Last year they flood the apartment and I put down these traps the same day they were gone~!
I have tried everything to get rid of these ants! I even tried putting out cucumber peals to ward them off. I read that somewhere in the home remedy “how to” online, but then for some reason they just migrated into the house and I can’t even find out from where!!! I hope I win this!
