If you’re a fan of Aladdin, you know by now that the live action version as well as the animated version were just released again and are available for you to bring home and watch now! But if you grew up with the movie, and watch it as an adult – you might have some questions. Like, how hard would it be trying to climb up to get the lamp or to try to get out of the Cave of Wonders. Thankfully our friends at Disney gave us the opportunity to test our ability to climb in the Cave of Wonders in a unique way.
We were invited to Planet Rock in Madison Heights to learn how to rock climb and to experience the physical challenge Aladdin might have had to go through on his quest to get the lamp out of there. With an hour long lesson, and free climb hours afterwards – families were invited to take fun to new heights.
Rock climbing isn’t as easy it as seems, but a lot of laughing was done as kids learned to climb and jumped back down to the soft mats below. All in the quest to find their own lamp and a little Disney magic on the way.
You can get your copies of both versions of Aladdin now! Both the Live Action Aladdin and the Walt Disney Signature Collection Aladdin are available on Digital HD as well as Blu-ray Combo pack! Loaded with bonus features, and even an alternate ending that never made it past the story board, musical features and much more that fans of the films are going to love.
