Clay Cooper’s Country Express Blends Comedy, Music and Personality #BloggingBranson

Branson is known for its shows, but how do you know what is the right show for you and your family? A lot of the shows through the city are variety shows so no matter what one you choose you wont be disappointed. On our first night in Branson we headed down the main strip and found ourselves at the Clay Cooper theater for our first show experience while in town – Clay Cooper’s Country Express.

Clay Cooper Show Branson ReviewAs a general rule, I’m not a huge fan of country music. There are always exceptions to the rule and I’m happy to say Clay Cooper’s Country Express blended in country music with modern rock, classic country and even some gospel tunes. With amazing dance numbers, great lighting and a bit of theatrics the show keeps you dancing in your seat and moving along with the music.

Clay Cooper Show Branson ReviewAt the heart of the show is Clay Cooper and his family, bringing down the house with their voices and talent. But Clay Cooper’s Country Express isn’t just music but a show that will have you laughing until you cry. The show opens with a comedy set that includes audience involvement, and even throughout the show Clay will engage with the audience. He will have you laughing along with him, and you will find tears in your eyes at the jokes through the set.

Clay Cooper Show Branson ReviewWe absolutely loved our visit to the Clay Cooper theater and meeting Clay and his family. The positive personality you see on stage is exactly how they are when you meet them. If you love your time at the show you can always purchase a copy of that night’s show after it finishes, and be sure to head out to the lobby after the show to meet the Cooper family and their talented cast. You will fall in love with them all over again when you see that they are not only talented but down to earth.

Clay Cooper’s Country Express is at the Clay Cooper Theater at 3216 W 76 Country Blvd. You can catch the family friendly show several nights a week as well as other shows while you’re in the area. Get your tickets now for a fun night of entertainment your whole family will love!

  1. I think it is great when a performer engages with the audience. It really brings the performance to life and makes people remember the show for years afterward.

  2. The show sounds fantastic. I love that the family comes out to engage with the crowd after the show. Totally fantastic, my daughter would feel like she was meeting celebrities!! #BloggingBranson
