 Ginger Simple Syrup

  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 3” fresh Ginger, peeled and cut into small pieces

Directions:

  1. In a small sauce pan add your sugar and water and add your ginger pieces to the pan. Bring the mixture to a boil and simmer approximately 20 minutes until all of the sugar is dissolved and the syrup is clear (it may have a slight color from the ginger but it shouldn’t be much). Remove from the heat and set allow to cool to room temperature.
  2. Fill your cups with ice, add in your vodka and lime juice. Top your drink with your ginger beer and add in a dash of your simple syrup. Stir to combine and top with min and a wedge of lime. Enjoy!
