Cider in the City is Returning to Detroit

Get in the fall spirit at Beacon Park’s iconic Cider in the City, returning October 14-15 and October 21-22, featuring fresh donuts, cider, apples and more courtesy of Blake’s Farm.

Beacon Park is an environmentally conscious space and hosts exciting, seasonal events throughout the year. This is a great opportunity for visitors and families to pick the perfect pumpkin, eat delicious donuts, take a free horse-drawn hayride, and enjoy fall festivities like pumpkin painting, crafts, lawn games and more. Attendees can also enjoy free face painting (October 15 & 22 only).

Cider in the City will host live music and entertainers, alongside market vendors offering autumnal décor. Detroit Lions games will be broadcast on Sunday, October 15 and Sunday, October 22 – starting at 1 p.m.

The future of mobility and environmentally responsible activations will be on display including DTE’s Electric Vehicle (EV) Underpass – a structure that houses a static electric vehicle, an EV charger and facts about EVs, such as how EV fuel is produced in Michigan, for Michiganders.
