How big of a train set is too big? If you asked Goonie he’d tell you there’s no such thing! And that is exactly the thought process behind the new Chuggington Megabuild sets by TOMY. They sent us the New Adventures in Old Town Megabuild StackTrack sets, and we have a little guy who couldn’t have been more excited to put it together!
The New Adventures in Old Town Megabuild is actually a collection of four different Chuggington Tracks including:
- Old Town Expansion Pack
- Loading Yard Yet
- Brake Training Set
- Koko’s Old Town Set
The sets include everything you need to make quite an impressive train set together, including jumping rocks, a loading station, bridges galore and even some great die-cast engines like Koko and Brewster! Each set also comes with their own instruction booklet with assembly instructions, and a color poster with all of the characters.
Purchased separately you wont have all of the instructions you need to create a Megabuild. Instead TOMY and Chugginton have put them all on one website – Stackyourtrack.com. On the new site you can find instructions for each Megabuild set and which sets are involved. You can build one from there, or even create your own!
Stack Your Track not only has instructions for setting up your sets, but full color PDF’s you can download of the Megabuilds. In the past we’ve had a few problems assembling Goonie’s other sets since the instructions were all in black and white. But as we set off on our adventure of setting up our new Megabuild we pulled the instructions up on my phone. We even downloaded the PDF and had it right at our fingertips. To set up all four sets only took us a few about a half hour and that was Goonie’s help and some dogs circling us!
Chuggington Megabuild sets are not only fun to try out but you can always expand on them and make them their own. Stack Your Track also offers communities where you can join and get help from experts, share your creations or get new inspiration!
We had a lot of fun setting up the New Adventures in Old Town Megabuild set. And as soon as we were done with the PDF instructions – Goonie started making it completely his own! He only added one of his other sets to it (so far) but I have a feeling his own Megabuild is going to keep growing as fast as he is!
Do you have a Chuggington fan in your family? TOMY is giving one of my lucky readers the New Adventures in Old Town Megabuild set to build their own! That’s all four of the Chuggington sets to either make your own creation or follow the Megabuild on stackyourtrack.com. Read down below for your chance to win the set for your little engineer!
