Charlie Brown Jim Shore Figurine
Charlie brown figurine Jim Shore Giveaway
There are few images that can evoke a certain feeling of Christmas like the Charlie Brown Christmas tree. And that’s why it was perfect for Jim Shore to put into one of his figurines. Peanuts sent me one to go along with our last interview we did with Lee Mendelson. When I opened it, the only thing I could say was “Awwww” It is not only adorable, but captures the innocence and Christmas spirit associated with A Charlie Brown Christmas. We’re awfully close to the holidays but Peanuts wanted to give away one of these adorably hand carved Jim Shore figurines to one of my readers. 1. I have several favorite decorations. Some are family heirlooms, such as a huge Nativity Set my great Aunt made, or the snowman light she also made me. But one of the first decorations out is my Santa sitting in an outhouse reading the paper with his hat hanging on the roof.

  2. One of my favorite decorations on our tree is a pickle– it hung on my mothers tree years ago and on my grandmothers tree before her.

  3. My favorite Christmas decoration would have to be an old Beistle Santa with his reindeer cardboard decorations. We’ve had it since I was a kid, and it always makes it feel like Christmas.

  4. Late 2012, I had a miscarriage. I frequently picture my son running through Heavenly fields surrounded by dragonflies. Because of this, my dragonfly Christmas ornaments are most special to me.

  5. My favorite are the ornaments that are made each year with the date to put each year to always remember the special memory each one holds and pass it on.

  6. another favorite decoration that we always add to our tree is the hand blown dogs we have, two of them look kinda like our animals

  7. My favorite is our angel tree topper we have had for over 15 years and she is still going strong. She is always the only blinking light on our tree, love her.

  8. I have to say that my favorite Christmas desecration(s) are the personalized tree ornaments that we have collected over our 10 years of marriage and the birth of our son and the losses of our loved ones. Each year at the beginning of the holiday season I go to the mall or online and order a special ornament with the year my son’s name, my husbands name, my name and our Boxer Loki’s name to include on our tree. I also make a point to order in loving memory ornaments each year of the loved ones we have lost over the course of the year with their birthdays to their death dates, I feel like this allows us to have a small piece of them home for the holidays even if they can’t be here in the physical world they are always with us in spirit.

  9. My favorite ornament is a glittery bird that my grandmother give me to remember her by. The glitter has falling off, but I still kept it.

  10. Yearly we make decorations for trading in our family and when we are together on Thanksgiving we hand them out to each other–One year I received a beautiful clear ornament with a tiny bit of glitter on it and a simple feather inside, attached to the top of the ornament at the loop for hanging is a tiny little prayer for all the earthly angels that had left us for that year and in the past–I love it and what it means to me

  11. Ironically it is from Peanuts. My grandma had glass ornaments from the show and one made it all these years. It used to grace her tree, now it graces ours, and I love it so.

  12. My favorite Christmas decoration is a wooden half moon with Santa sitting on it. It was given to be by a friends and Its my favorite.

  13. My favorite Christmas decoration are these two little ceramic snowmen my mother painted for my brother and I when we were young. My favorite character is Linus.
