You have the ham, potatoes, salad and probably green bean casserole already set for your Easter feast. But you don’t have to stick with the traditional meals and options. This year Jarlsberg asked us to try something different for our meal, and sent us some coupons to try out some of their cheese in our recipes.
Jarlsberg cheese is a lighter flavored cheese with a bit of a nutty taste, so compared to some of the recipes I have using more robust cheese, I was at a bit of a loss at what to make. Thankfully Jarlsberg has a recipe section on their website using their products – so I had a great resource for starting off. You can find recipes on their site for quick meals, side dishes, main courses and even more, so there is something for everyone who is cooking for the family.
We’re in the Midwest, so our love for cheese is something that is just assumed at this point. So we were more than happy to test out these cheese filled muffins and have them with our dinner. The recipe was extremely easy to make and they baked while the rest of dinner was going. I will say, that like the cheese, the corn muffins were overall a little bland and mild, but you can always spice them up with something else and make them to your liking.
There are so many ways you can add Jarlsberg cheese to your menu this year. Change up your menu and check out their recipes for inspiration!
