It seems hard to believe, but Peanuts have been part of popular culture for 65 years now. In October of 1965 the first Peanuts comic strips appeared in a handful of newspapers and the rest, as they say, is history. It’s hard to imagine a childhood without the Peanuts gang or reading the comic strip as a kid. And to celebrate the last 65 years of history, comic strips and more Celebrating Peanuts: 65 Years has been released to showcase the impact Charles Schulz has made on history as well as our lives.
We were sent a copy of Celebrating Peanuts: 65 Years to review, as well as offer one as a giveaway to a reader! The book is beautifully bound soft cover book that any collector is going to love to have. Inside is 544 pages full of comics as well as highlights of the significance of Peanuts in each decade. It’s amazing to see where the Peanuts gang started and where they are today. Â While the book doesn’t include every Peanuts strip around, but the ones selected are a nice overview from each decade. The book is not just for display, but it’s there to be looked through and enjoyed.
Peanuts is giving one of my readers a copy of Celebrating Peanuts: 65 Years for their own collection. Read how you can win your own copy below!
