The Merc with a Mouth is back in theaters this weekend, in his third major movie, and first one under the Disney helm. Bringing with him a movie that will no doubt make you wonder who at the Mouse House green-lit this, the story, the content, and that infamous popcorn bucket that fans will no doubt be fighting to get. For years, the more “adult” movies with a couple of cuss words and more adult topics would be produced by one of the other studios that Disney owned. But now, completely in their control and part of the MCU, Deadpool is back on the big screen.

It’s really hard to say much about the movie itself without giving away spoilers. The movie is nothing short of a love letter to fans in its own way. The cameos throughout the film are countless, the multi-verse element brings together a battle scene that you could only get in a Deadpool movie and the chemistry between Deadpool and Wolverine is what really makes the story come together.

Like the previous two Deadpool films, fans can expect a killer soundtrack, great fight sequences, a lot of blood and profanities, and somehow, buried in between all of that – a lot of heart. There’s still (more than one) part of the movie that warms your heart, even if it’s a very brief moment between the laughs.

Deadpool & Wolverine is hitting theaters everywhere this weekend. The movie is, nothing short of, a bloody good time that will make you laugh. With the amount of cussing and violence in the movie (fans of the previous Deadpool movies already know what to expect), this movie isn’t for everyone. But for fans, and those that want to hit the theater looking for some mindless violence and escapism, the tickets are selling out fast for one of the summer’s most anticipated movies.
