What would you do if you got an envelope with 5 FREE coupons for Ben and Jerry’s in the mail? Probably what I did: pick out your favorite flavors, eat them all and forget to take pictures… whoops!

Ben and Jerry’s sent me the coupons to review their ice cream, and we did! We had a week of delicious ice cream in the house, and enjoyed every bite. I know I paused a few times to think “man I should get shots of the pints” but quickly forgot as I enjoyed more ice cream. I’m noticing a theme when it comes to food reviews lately! It’s hard to show how good it is!

Ben and Jerry’s was started in 1978 – and as they grew they have turned into a household name! They make ice cream products that you crave after, and some that you never knew you wanted!

I get as excited as a kid when I see a Ben and Jerry’s store. And for me, it’s a special trip to the one downtown Detroit – it’s run by the local Good Will Mission and provides jobs to people in need in the area. Even if the double scoop I just ordered is going to add to my waist line, it’s helping out my local community and helping out tastes so good!

Now I mentioned we ate all the ice cream before I could take pictures of the pints, so I’ll just share the flavors we tried.

Late Night Snack: Vanilla Ice cream with salty caramel swirl with fudge covered potato chip clusters!

I had never seen this flavor before, and I’ll be searching for it from now on! Salty and sweet and fantastic in one little pint! I’m a huge fan of chocolate covered potato chips, so this one was quickly added to my list of favorites! It’s not for everyone – but if you need that salty and sweet fix in one shot, this is the place to find it.

Creme Brulee: Custard Ice cream with caramelized sugar swirl

A long time favorite, sweet and light flavor with a bit of crunch in the caramel swirls. A truly decedant treat that will hit the spot.

This is one of the few that can take me a week to finish a pint, it’s not overpowering but the truly rich flavor can reach the strongest sweet tooth.

This is my favorite and has been for years! Look out for a sugar overload! It has almost every sweet in it you could imagine.  Definitely not for the weak of heart, but perfect for the pure sugar fiend.

A pick of my candy hound boyfriend. Perfect for candy lovers, the perfect balance of candy and vanilla ice cream! Not over powered by other flavors, toffee chocolate and ice cream – what else do you need?

Ben and Jerry's Strawberry Cheesecake

Strawberry Cheesecake – Strawberry Cheesecake Ice cream with strawberries and graham cracker swirls.

Another favorite of my boyfriend’s – dessert in a cup! It’s ice cream but it’s really smooth chilled cheese cake, and look – it’s got fruit too! Too good to stop eating it!

Now, I’m not going to say my waistline didn’t suffer a bit from this product review. Each pint has 2-4 servings (I think it’s recommended to be 4), but who really can split up the pints like that? They are too delicious and hard to resist!

  33. Well, Chunky Monkey was my all time favorite but I haven’t been able to find that in a loooong time. I believe it was discontinued. So, my new absolute favorite is Cherry Garcia. So good!!!!

  55. Yummo!! Half baked, americone dream ( I think that is the right name) cherry Garcia; I like them all I could go on and on. We went on a tour of Ben and Jerry’s once when I was like 10- it was AWESOME!

  74. It’s a 3 way tie between Late Night Snack, Red Velvet Cake and Cherry Garcia….love those three. Dublin Mudslide is really good too.
