It’s that time of year again, static is flying throughout our home. With the weather flipping from hot to cold, and the heat constantly being on there’s no doubt we’ll see more sparks through the air in the coming weeks. What’s really happening is the air is dry – too dry and needs a little bit more moisture. In the summer we don’t worry about it as much, but when we start seeing the cats have sparks coming off their back while we pet them – it’s time to bring out a humidifier.
In my office, I have a handful of plug dedicated to the things I need to work every day. So putting a large humidifier in there is not an option. Besides I don’t need another thing on the floor that is a trip hazard, or that Jack could knock over while playing. Telebrands send me their new Aqua Stone to test out, and while I knew it was a humidifier, I didn’t know it worked exactly.
You see, the Aqua Stone is only two pieces. There aren’t any power cords, plugs or anything. Just a simple stone and a ceramic bowl or it to sit in. It seems so simple, but it’s amazing how it works! You wont need to plug it in, add anything special to it – you seriously, just add water!
It’s really that simple, just pour water into the base and set your stone inside. The stone will absorb the water and put moisture back in your air for a few days. I didn’t notice it beading up on the stone, or anything like that but if you touch it you can feel the moisture on it.
Besides how easy it is to use and the fact it doesn’t need power to work, I love the look of it over all. One side does say Aqua Stone right one it, but you can spin that so it is in the back if you don’t want it visible. Instead it looks like a very modern accessory piece and it’s also very functional. And as an added bonus from not using power, the Aqua Stone is a completely silent humidifier as well.
