Mother’s Day is quickly approaching, it’s May 12th this year if you didn’t have it marked down! It’s time to start figuring out what you are going to be getting your mother this year – and maybe a few fun craft ideas for the kids to do. We have had some fun this past year having some fun on our holidays with items from
Oriental Trading Company – like a
Pirate’s Thanksgiving, and we even did a Mustache Easter but I didn’t have time to post that. So they were the first choice to look at for
Mother’s Day craft ideas.
There are so many things I love about the crafts on Oriental Trading site – they have something for everyone! This include simple crafts that are easy peel and stick, or ones that require wire wrapping. You can choose what you’re skill level is, or the kids – or what you have time for!
The first craft I chose was the “My Mom Rocks” pom-pom crafts, mostly because they remind me of the ones we made as kids. Everything is already separated into bags with all of the parts, you simply peel the backs off the parts and assemble. They come out super cute and are fun! The kit makes 12 poms and is only $6!
While the poms are cute – I wanted to do something a bit more useful. I found
DIY Flower pots (12 for $14) and a package
Mother’s day inspired stick on foam decorations (500 for $7!) You just peel off their packs and decorate the pots. Now the best part about the pots is you can decorate them with paint, marker, stick ons and more. It’s a fun craft and something that Mom can use on her desk, plant her flowers in and more!
Both crafts came out so cute – I’m super happy and even will be giving my mom a couple of them this year! The best part all of it only cost me $27!
