With the holiday baking, shopping,cleaning and wrapping piling up, I haven’t had time to run to the salon for a manicure. We all want to look our best during the holiday season but making sure my nails are done is always the last thing on the list. Partly because I don’t want to mess up a good manicure, but really the amount of time and money it costs to get what I want can be too much at the holidays – plus let’s not even talk about how long the wait at the salon is this time of year.
A couple of years ago, I was introduced to nail polish strips. They are these magical things that can allow you to get to a full manicure in under ten minutes while not leaving the house. It’s as simple as shaping your nails, peeling the polish strip off and applying it. I do always like to finish mine with a nice top coat so they last even longer, but on average the manicure will last a good couple of weeks. And you can apply them easier than wrapping those presents that are building up.
