Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs of Chicken Breasts
  • 3 stalks of Celery, chopped
  • 2 Carrots – peeled and chopped
  • 1 medium Onion, chopped
  • 1 Parsnip, peeled and chopped
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tsp Thyme
  • 1 tsp Parsley
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • Salt & Pepper
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • 4 cups of Chicken Stock
  • 4 Cups of Water
  • 1 Package of Egg Noodles

Directions:

  1. On the Saute function melt your butter and add in your chopped vegetables. Cook until onions are translucent.
  2. Add in your spices, chicken broth, chicken breasts and water
  3. Cook on Soup function for 8 minutes. Allow to depressurize naturally.
  4. Cook noodles according to package directions and add cooked noodles to your soup.
  5. Remove chicken from pot, chop and add back to soup.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy!

  1. We cook a lot of meals in a slow cooker, and this looks to be a more efficient way to do that. We usually use it for chicken and some beef, so I think that is how we would primarily use this.

  2. I would love to make my white chicken chili in it! I think the chili tastes way better when it cooks for a while and I’d feel a lot better not having it simmer on the stove top!
