First your probably wondering what Ragnarok means (and I’m not giving anything away here if you have seen the previews), well, it’s the destruction of Asgard. The whole movie is surrounded by the idea of Ragnarok and Thor’s determination to stop the destruction. The movie also shows us what “God of Thunder” really means.
Thor: Ragnarok is action packed, hilarious and full of one-liners, and even has some guest appearances that may surprise you. Thor and Loki team up in an intergalactic fight to save their home world against an unforeseen threat, a family member that was kept hidden. Teaming up with an old friend in Hulk, Thor fights off threat after threat to save his home. An Avenger reunion, how fun you must think, but things do not start off easy with one of the best battles in the movie, a gladiator contest between the two strongest Avengers.
There is so much I want to tell you about the movie but I also do not want to be the person who spoils all the fun. We get to meet new superheroes that help save the Asgardian people and earn their place in the Marvel world. Loki has moments where you actually think he is turning from his evil ways. Thor’s time on Earth has made him sarcastic and cocky. The soundtrack is epic and fitting for all the battle scenes.
Any Marvel fan would be crazy not to go and see this Thor sequel. We get to learn more than I expected about the Marvel Universe as we prepare for all the upcoming movies. There are surprises around every corner and Thor moves through this trial to take his place in history.
“We Know Each Other”
About Thor: Ragnarok:
In Marvel Studios’ THOR: RAGNAROK, Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok—the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization—at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela. But first he must survive a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger—the Incredible Hulk! THOR: RAGNAROK is directed by Taika Waititi and returns Chris Hemsworth starring as Thor and Tom Hiddleston reprising his role as Loki. They are joined by Cate Blanchett, Idris Elba, Jeff Goldblum, Tessa Thompson and Karl Urban, with Mark Ruffalo and Anthony Hopkins.
