Whenever you host a party, it’s a good idea to have some finger food for your guests to enjoy. Your finger foods or tapas will be enjoyed while your guests socialize or wait for the main deal. Finding the right cheese and crackers is easy enough, but finding something unique for your guests to enjoy can be harder than you’d expect. This year, with the help of The Charcuterie Shack, we’re shaking up our finger foods with a bit of Spanish flavor and heat.
The Charcuterie Shack specializes in different cured meats, that are fully pre-cooked and perfect for your table. They actually offer four different types of gift packages that are around $30 each and have different meat profiles for you to sample with your friends or to send to your favorite meat lover. The packs they currently offer are A Trip to Spain, Lord of the Rings “Salami”, Sliced Serrano Ham Pack and Spicy Lover. Each package has a little different twist on cured meat and is a great way to try things you’ve never had before.
We were sent both A Trip to Spain and the Spicy Lover package, which for us is perfect. The packages included chorizo ring, chorizo sticks, sopresatta sticks, fuet sticks, chorizo bits, hot chorizo ring, fuet bites and two tubes of cooked chorizo. We’re actually both fans of chorizo, but hadn’t actually heard of fuet or sopresatta before and were looking forward to trying it.
Whenever I set up the finger food boards for guests I like to have some fun pairings for our guests to try out, and The Charcuterie Shack makes that easy to do. With a quick visit to our cheese monger and a few different cracker options (including gluten free of course), it’s quick and easy to put together a fun tasting board for our family.
